Director of Multicultural, Gender and Women’s Center at Xavier University.
Phallacies is about shining a light on hegemonic masculinity in an effort to do what we can to dismantle it. By doing so, we hope to help create masculinities that are healthy for individuals, families, communities, and the world. We know we are part of larger movements of people trying to create a healthier, safer, and just world. We know we owe much to the feminist, civil rights, queer rights, and other human rights movements. We are humbled by the pioneers and activists who have come before us, and who continue to do incredible work today. We owe them many thanks.
